Driving Car Cars Study

Since I turned eighteen. My parent's have been nagging me to have driving lessons. They even offered to pay for my lessons.

I always thought, I wouldn't need a motor vehicle. I'm so used to walking, using public transport or even getting a lift from my Parent's or friends. And since I'm quite a green person, I didn't want to add more pollution to the environment. But it could come in handy.

I typed driving schools leeds into a search engine, it didn't take long to find a driving school nearby. The Driving school offered different motor licenses, maybe I should have moped lessons, it's a lot greener than a car, even though, it does have a part in the pollution, and it's not very practical. I mean, what if I need to do some grocery shopping? Where could I put the shopping?

Four months had passed since I started to look into having driving lessons. My Parent's have been continuously nagging me to start them. Having a license to drive a car doesn't mean I have to buy a car. So, I decided to start having lessons.

Six months later, I finally passed my theory and practical test the second time.

I found that during my lessons, I was getting to certain places a lot quicker than I would walking or by bus or even waiting for one of my Parents' or friend to become available to drive me. Maybe I should get myself a new car. It saves waiting for Mum or Dad to let me borrow their car, when they are not using it.

I started looking for a car that I could afford. I started to wonder whether I should buy a new car on finance or a second hand car. Although, I'm still living at home, I have a decent wage from my retail job, I could buy one on finance.

When I have found a few cars that I like, new car or second hand. I searched for motoring insurance, to see which one I could afford to keep running.

I didn't realize that there was a lot of different motoring insurance policies. I started to compare them by filling out a form online to receive quotes. I couldn't believe that some motoring insurance companies where either cheaper or more expensive than others for the same motor!

After some search, I bought a new car on finance, and since I have been a lot greener in other ways in replacement of my purchase of a car that adds to the pollution in our environment.
