That day Uncle Alex was in the main town to hire a skip. I was, as usu

That day Uncle Alex was in the main town to hire a skip. I was, as usual, preparing for my mock driving tests when Aunt Martha called for me. When I hurried downstairs, I saw Aunt Martha looking perplexed and pale. Even my cousins were there too. Aunt quickly told us that Uncle Alex's beloved transistor radio was out of order. As far as I remembered, Uncle Alex boasted of it never failing him since he got it. We were all frightened to death. Uncle is going to flay us alive.
Suddenly an idea struck me. Bolivar, my friend has a brother who works as an electrician in a certain building of some insurance groups. I quickly set out to find Bolivar, while my cousins started thinking of a defensive excuse. I found Bolivar at his usual place, by the safe manufacturing company near Coronation square. I told Bolivar about all my problems and he, in return asked me to go back and everything would be just fine. I, in turn decided to talk to Uncle Paulsche. Uncle Paulsche worked in the outskirts of Aleksandr, and he was the best of all my uncles. When I reached there I found him working on a safe. "Hi, Dunes. What is it?” I took a defensive approach and asked Uncle Paul, “What are you doing". Uncle Paul said, “Nothing, I forgot the combination and am fumbling for the same." He said that he desperately needs the papers of some insurance groups that is in the safe. I went directly to the point,” You know what, Aunt Martha found uncle Alex's transistor radio broken". Uncle Paulsche froze for a moment and asked, “Are you kidding?". After a bit of conviction, uncle Paulsche hurried home with me.
When we reached home, we found Bolivar with his brother Henry rummaging with the machinery of the radio. As we worked on it for two hours, pondering over prototypes in the Internet, rummaging for inconspicuous age old manual (I didn't even know there was one), suddenly there was a loud knock, and our most feared voice mumbled “I am back". We went dead with fear. Aunt Martha took a very defensive approach and Uncle Paulsche starting mumblings about insurance groups and safes. Bolivar was first to open the door. Uncle Alex's eyes fell straight on the pool of dissembled part of the radio. He mocked, "well, are you trying to fix it, I thought of replacing it...” It was Uncle Alex himself who broke the radio. And do you know the reason why? Because then his favorite channel was no longer to be broadcasted on shortwave.
