Today was the day I could go take my driving test for the first time. I got ready and my mom drove me to the place. I walked into the place where I had to take my driving test, I wanted to walk out. I was scared that I wasn't going to pass my driving test, If I didn't pass it I would have to take lessons again over the summer.
I walked up to the lady at the front desk, she told me to go to the other side of the wall where other people were going to take their driving test. They must of had 30 people in front of me, this was going to take a while.
As I waited inline, I started talking to this guy in front of me. He was talking about his scooter he just got the other day and asked if I would like to ride it someday.
Well we were almost in front of the line now to take our driving test. He handed me his number and said I hope to see you again and I can show you my scooter, he winked and turned around.
My mind was kind of dazed now, since he was on my mind. But I tried to pull things together so I could pass my test and wouldn't have to take lessons again.
I went in the room were I had to take my test, my mind was blanking. I knew I was going to fail. Everything happened so fast, next thing I knew I was handing in my test to the lady at the front desk.
She came back and said I failed the test by one question. And told me I would have to take driving lessons again, and I should look for automatic driving schools to help me.
As I walked out of the place disappointed in myself that I didn't pass, I heard my name being called. I turned around and saw the guy that was in front of me. I walked over to him, while he was standing next to his scooter. He asked if I wanted a ride home.
Even though I didn't pass my driving test the first time I took it, I still had an amazing day and I now have a friend who can ride me around on his scooter.
