When I turned sixteen I was very nervous about getting my permit to dr

When I turned sixteen I was very nervous about getting my permit to drive. But I did, because everyone else was at the time. And I passed my test first time. My father even went out a bought me a used auto to practice driving. But it sat there even though he had contacted the insurance group and added it onto the policy.
My mother suggested we used female driving instructors, but he said "No way!" He was going to teach me how to drive my first auto, and he had added it on with the insurance group, and I was his daughter. He had been a driver for the motor trade for a long time and it did make sense he knew more about driving an auto than anyone I knew. Although he said he respected female driving instructors.
I was simply terrified to get behind the wheel of an auto. So I made up every excuse I could. I am not one who openly excepts changes in life easily. So I did check on anyfemale driving instructors. And my father, the experienced motor trade driver, kept insisting I get behind the wheel.
But the car sat there in my drive way for several years. And each year he updated the payments with the insurance group. And then I went off to college. In college I had the best excuse: it was simply more expensive to have a car while in school. The parking fees alone were outrageous for on-campus and honestly I could walk everywhere I needed to go. So again I put off getting my license.
My friends could not believe I was in my early twenties without a license. They even contacted a local drivingschool to see if any female driving instructors might encourage me to learn how to drive. But I knew how that would upset my father.
So after I graduated college and moved back home I found out I needed to get a license. Because the town I grew up in had a very limited route for the public transportation. So of course I turned to my father who at that time had driven more than fifteen years in the motor trade industry.
